Lys Bowls from France - An Everyday Kitchen Essential
New for 4th qtr 2009
New Castle, DE - September 2009 - There are some kitchen tools that are nice to have, there are some that make tasks easier and there are some that every cook in every kitchen should have. The Duralex Lys Stackable Clear Bowls from France fit the latter. The set of 9 bowls retails for $28. The set of 10 bowls retails for $38. A cook will use them nearly everyday for decades.
The Lys Stackable Clear Bowls are made in France of a tempered glass. The smallest size holds 1 ounce and the largest holds 6 quarts. They are elegantly simple and heat, cold and shock resistant. They are extremely tough and durable and with even a little bit of care will last for decades without breaking or chipping. Duralex products go in the dishwasher and because of their high quality, maintain a brand-new appearance for years. The Lys glasses are also microwave safe.
The tempered glass is non-porous so it does not retain odors, scratch or stain. Individual bowl prices range from $1.80 for the smallest bowl to $14.50 for the largest but the bowls stack together so perfectly to tuck into a cabinet that a cook will want a full set.
Duralex International SAS has been manufacturing glassware in France for more then 80 years and was the inventor of tempered glass in 1939. It is the only glass manufacturing company that manufacturers all of its products in France. The Lys bowls, like all Duralex products are manufactured in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin near Orleans, France.
